Hilary Broman

Ballet Instructor

At the recommendation of her kindergarten teacher, Hilary started taking ballet classes when she was 5 years old. As a shy child, her teacher thought dance would help Hilary come out of her shell. Hilary fell in love with ballet immediately. She found a way to express herself and in turn, blossomed into a passionate artist. Hilary studied with the Carolina ballet and performed in the Nutcracker for 5 consecutive years. Hilary also studied at Allegro West Dance School in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Hilary also works in San Diego with the contemporary ballet company, The Rosin Box Project, as an outreach teacher and studio coordinator.

Hilary’s lifelong love of dance has enriched her life in many ways. She sees dance as a way to move through the world in a way that’s most authentic to her. Her hope is to share that love of dance with her students. She believes that dance is first and foremost an act of love.
